The Fall Festival is Hands4Hope – Youth Making A Difference’s largest youth-led fundraising event. The youth committee leading this event consists of 20 middle and high school age participants. Since August, these youth have worked within four subcommittees to plan and prepare for this community event, with the goals of raising

funds to support Hands4Hope programs while gaining career skills and having fun along the way. Adult mentor volunteers and Hands4Hope staff work with the youth throughout the process, providing scaffolding and support. In addition to the Fall Festival Committee participants, adult and youth volunteers will fill more than 200 shifts to contribute to the event’s success throughout the weekend.
