Two men are reportedly in critical condition after an early morning shooting a well known equestrian center in Rancho Murieta Thursday.
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the center at the 7200 block of Lone Pine Drive in Rancho Murieta just after 2:30 a.m Thursday morning to a reported double shooting.
According to deputies, both victims were in critical condition upon arrival.
According to the initial report, deputies say the shooting took place hours after a soccer match between workers. that occurred during the after work hours game, a fight allegedly took place. The suspect reportedly left then returned armed with a gun and shot the two victims.
Investigators are searching for the suspect who fled the scene and remain on site this morning as the investigation continues. No further information has been released at this time as it continues to be an active investigation.
