The City of Folsom is preparing for its second annual Earth Day celebration and is inviting vendors and exhibitors to participate in the event, which highlights environmental stewardship and sustainability. The free, family-friendly event is set for Saturday, April 26, at the newly opened Prospector Park in Folsom Ranch.

The celebration begins with an Earth Day cleanup from 8 to 11 a.m., providing community members with an opportunity to take part in volunteer efforts to improve the local environment. Following the cleanup, the Earth Day Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 4578 Sparrow Drive. The festival will feature educational exhibits, electric city vehicles, local artisans, and hands-on activities for all ages.

The city is currently seeking vendors and exhibitors who promote environmental sustainability and stewardship to take part in the celebration. Businesses and organizations interested in a 10’ x 10’ booth at the event must submit an application by Friday, March 21. Space is limited, and applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Organizations selected to participate will receive an email confirmation within one to two weeks of submission.
