Full weekend line up includes Cynthia Renee Band, Adam Aldama, Darth Mozart, Red Corvettes and Ryder Green

Historic Folsom’s Powerhouse is kicking off four straight days of live music this week with the return of  Gotcha Country on for the venue’s Country Thursday show on April 10. It’s the kick off of a talent packed week at the local music venue celebrating its 25th year of entertaining Folsom.

If you’re looking for a fun variety of country music, Gotcha Country brings exactly that—and more. A high-octane offshoot of the Gotcha Covered Music family, the band is rooted in the heart of California’s Central Valley and brings nonstop energy to every show. Their setlist spans the best of country music from the ’90s to now, making them a favorite for fans who love both nostalgic classics and today’s biggest hits. Whether you’re into line dancing, two-stepping, or just kicking back with a drink in hand, Gotcha Country keeps the dance floor moving all night long.

From modern favorites by artists like Luke Combs and Miranda Lambert to throwback hits from Brooks & Dunn and Shania Twain, their crowd-pleasing performances are designed to keep country fans on their feet and singing along.

The music begins at 9 p.m. and, as always, admission is free on Country Thursdays at Powerhouse. Seating is first-come, first-served, so arriving early is your best bet for securing a spot.

Thursday’s country vibes are just the start of a jam-packed weekend at Historic Folsom’s premier entertainment venue.

Friday brings a special event as Cynthia Renee headlines the TGIF early show and unveils the official music video for her new single, Have a Heart for a Hero. The track, a rocking country tribute to first responders, veterans, and frontline heroes, was filmed both in Nashville and locally in Folsom with help from the Folsom Fire Department and the community.

Renee, a recording artist with Twelve-Seventeen/SSM Nashville Records, will debut the video on the big screen inside Powerhouse at the top of the night. Then, with her four-piece band, she’ll light up the stage with a live performance that runs until 9:30 p.m.

Her growing catalog of radio-played originals includes Working on a HangoverGood on Me, and now Have a Heart for a Hero, which is being distributed to country music broadcast and streaming outlets nationwide. Renee, who has opened for major acts like Uncle Kracker and Chase Bryant, continues to build momentum in the national spotlight. Friday’s Powerhouse show also sets the stage for a packed 2025 schedule, including fair and festival stops from California to Wyoming this year.

Adam Aldama & The Aces keep the party rolling when they take over the stage at 10 p.m. Known for their electrifying themed shows like The Red Corvettes (Prince), Finesse (Bruno Mars/MJ), and Y2K Live, Aldama and his five-piece band are guaranteed to get the late-night crowd on their feet.

Saturday, April 12, delivers an afternoon and evening of non-stop music. The day begins at 3 p.m. with Darth Mozart, a Sacramento-based band that fuses classic rock with funk and high-energy beats. Their genre-spanning set covers everything from The Beatles and Zeppelin to the Foo Fighters, making them a crowd favorite for all ages.

The night reaches its peak at 10 p.m. with The Red Corvettes, a tribute to the legendary music of Prince. Fronted by Aldama, the show delivers a powerful mix of funk, rock, and soul with classic hits like Purple RainWhen Doves Cry, and Kiss brought to life with dazzling stage presence and flair.

Closing out the weekend on Sunday, April 13, is another edition of Powerhouse of Blues featuring the Ryder Green Band at 3 p.m. Known for their high-powered blend of blues-rock and soul, the band showcases Ryder Green’s impressive guitar skills and original songwriting. From gritty blues to inventive covers, their performances are packed with fire, heart, and crowd-pleasing musicianship.
