One of Folsom’s most anticipated school fundraising events is just around the corner, as St. John Notre Dame Catholic School prepares to host its annual Derby Gala & Auction on Friday, May 3. This signature celebration blends festive Southern charm with meaningful community support, all in the name of education.
This year’s event takes on a spirited “Run for the Roses” theme, inviting guests to walk through a grand 8-foot horseshoe entrance as they arrive at the gala. Red rose centerpieces, classic Mint Juleps, and elegant passed appetizers will set the tone for a lively evening of giving.
The night’s entertainment includes a silent auction packed with imaginative, high-value baskets and an exclusive outdoor tequila and cigar bar. Guests will also be treated to a three-course dinner before the live auction gets underway—offering both returning favorites and brand-new items. Among the evening’s highlights are unique Teacher Experiences, creative Class Projects, and the school’s ever-popular Fund-A-Need drive.
Funds raised will directly benefit the programs and mission of St. John Notre Dame, a long-standing Folsom institution dedicated to shaping future leaders through faith-based education.
