CAMERON PARK -Independence Day may still be a few days away, but one of El Dorado County’s biggest fireworks shows is lighting up the sky early this year. On Saturday, June 28, the Cameron Park Community Services District invites families from across the region to gather at Cameron Park Lake for the 2025 Annual Summer Spectacular—a full evening of fireworks, food, music, and community celebration.

The fun begins at 5 p.m. and continues through 10 p.m., with something for every member of the family to enjoy. From the moment gates open, attendees will be treated to a vibrant festival atmosphere that includes delicious food trucks, local craft vendors, and a free KidZone packed with activities for younger guests—all included with admission.

At sunset, the night culminates in a professional fireworks display that lights up the lake and has become known as one of the best shows in the region. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets and settle in for a patriotic spectacle beneath the stars.

For those looking to enhance their evening, the Rotary Club of Cameron Park will once again host “Rotaryville,” a VIP island area offering margaritas, hard seltzers, and shaded seating. Meanwhile, ice-cold beer will be served courtesy of Moirae Brewing, adding a refreshing way to toast to the start of summer.

Parking and access are also made easy with free parking available along Boeing Road in the Cameron Park Airpark District, and free shuttle service running from Pleasant Grove Middle School in Rescue, Marshall Medical Lab in Cameron Park, and the Cameron Park CSD Office throughout the evening.

Admission to the Summer Spectacular is $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 4–13, and free for children 3 and under. To save time at the gate, attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance at cameronpark.org and pick them up at the CSD Office by Thursday, June 26 at 4:30 p.m. Event day purchases will also be accepted at the gate with cash.
