Adapted from Roald Dahl’s beloved book Charlie and the Chocolate FactoryWilly Wonka comes to life with the music and lyrics of Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, including classic songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder. Audiences can expect to hear favorites like “Pure Imagination” and “The Candy Man” alongside a collection of additional songs written for the stage.

The production follows the mysterious candy maker Willy Wonka as he announces a contest offering five golden ticket holders a chance to tour his secretive chocolate factory—and a lifetime supply of sweets. As the winners make their way through the dazzling world of Wonka’s candy empire, lessons are learned, mishaps unfold, and only one child proves worthy of the ultimate prize.
