RANCHO CORDOVA—Rancho Cordova’s free summer concert series returns this Friday, August 1, with an explosive opener featuring Southern California’s rising country rockers, American Mile. The high-energy quartet, known for their dynamic live shows and gritty blend of country and Southern rock, will headline the first night of the 2025 Friday Night Concert Series at Village Green Park.

Formed in Los Angeles in 2018, American Mile has carved a unique space in the modern country-rock scene by fusing heartland storytelling with the hard-driving edge of rock and roll. Their lineup features Eugene Rice on lead vocals and guitar, Joe Perez on lead guitar and vocals, Dezmond Saunders on bass and vocals, and Colton Miller on drums and vocals. Together, they deliver powerful three-part harmonies and the kind of onstage chemistry that has earned them acclaim across North America.

Fresh off the release of their latest album, American Dream, the band is bringing its boldest material yet to Rancho Cordova. The nine-track record is a statement of grit, determination, and resilience, drawing inspiration from artists like Aerosmith, The Black Crowes, Brothers Osborne, Chris Stapleton, and Luke Combs. The album follows their 2020 debut, The Longest Road, produced with Grammy-nominated musicians Bruce Witkin and Keith Nelson, and marks a new chapter in their musical evolution.

American Mile’s touring schedule is relentless, with nearly 200 performances annually at some of the nation’s most iconic stages and festivals. From Summerfest and the Country Summer Music Festival to the NASCAR Auto Club 400 and Idaho Potato Drop, their sound has resonated with crowds far and wide. They’ve also shared the stage with major acts including 38 Special, Blue Öyster Cult, Nate Smith, Kameron Marlowe, and Neon Trees, and have performed at venues like Moonshine Flats, Goldfield, and The Viper Room.

Located at 3141 Bridgeway Drive, Village Green Park is adjacent to Rancho Cordova City Hall and is easily accessible from surrounding communities, including Folsom, Gold River, and Mather.
