Registration is now open for the City of Folsom’s Fun Factory Preschool Program, giving local families the opportunity to enroll their children in a joyful and enriching first step into the classroom. Operated by Folsom Parks & Recreation, the popular program is designed for 3-year-olds and offers a nurturing, play-based environment that promotes social-emotional growth, confidence, and plenty of preschool fun.
Families can choose between Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday morning classes, each running from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. New this year, a combined 3- and 4-year-old class option will also be offered. The program runs the full school year, September through May, at the Andy Morin Sports Complex, 66 Clarksville Road.
Children must turn 3 by September 30, 2025, be fully potty trained, and provide a copy of their birth certificate along with current immunization records. Early registration is encouraged, as spaces are filling quickly for the 2025–26 school year.
Program organizers note that preschool is an important first step in a child’s education, helping to ensure transitional kindergarten won’t be their first experience away from home or in a structured school environment.
