Southern California’s rising country rock band headlines free Sept. 25 show in Historic Folsom

FOLSOM – Southern California country rockers American Mile roll into Historic Folsom this Thursday night for a special live performance at Powerhouse Pub, bringing their high-octane blend of country soul and gritty rock and roll to the venue’s popular Country Thursday series.

Formed in Los Angeles in 2018, American Mile has earned a national reputation as one of the most exciting new voices in modern country rock. Their sound channels the raw storytelling of Americana with the high-voltage energy of bands like Aerosmith, The Black Crowes, and Brothers Osborne. The band features Eugene Rice on lead vocals and guitar, Joe Perez on lead guitar and vocals, Dezmond Saunders on bass and vocals, and Colton Miller on drums and vocals—together delivering powerhouse three-part harmonies and a commanding stage presence.

The group’s touring schedule is relentless, performing nearly 200 shows annually at top-tier festivals and venues including Summerfest, the NASCAR Auto Club 400, and the Idaho Potato Drop. They’ve shared stages with 38 Special, Kameron Marlowe, Blue Öyster Cult, and Nate Smith, and have played after-parties for major acts like 3 Doors Down, Eric Church, and Old Dominion.

Their latest album, American Dream, is a collection of nine songs inspired by grit, determination, and the drive to keep rock and country music alive. Produced in part by Grammy-nominated musicians Bruce Witkin and Keith Nelson, the album marks the next evolution for a band known for lighting up venues from The Viper Room to Moonshine Flats.
