FOLSOM — For anyone who dreads wrapping holiday gifts, can never quite get the corners crisp, or simply runs out of time during the busiest weeks of the year, the Rotary Club of Folsom is stepping in with a festive solution that supports local families in need.
Beginning this Saturday, the Rotary Club will host its “Wrappin’ Rotarians” donation-based gift-wrapping station inside The Grain at 705 Sutter Street in Historic Folsom. The fundraiser runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 29 and again on December 6, 13, and 20, giving shoppers multiple opportunities to drop off their unwrapped presents and let Rotary’s cheerful elves work their magic.
Rotarians will provide festive paper selections in red and green, white and silver, gold, white and black, along with bows, tags, and boxes. Community members are invited to bring any gifts—no matter where they were purchased—and make a donation of any amount, with all proceeds going directly to Twin Lakes Food Bank. Volunteers will accept credit cards, Venmo, and cash to make giving as convenient as possible.
The fundraiser comes as Twin Lakes Food Bank continues to experience increased seasonal demand, making the timing of the effort especially meaningful. Donations collected through the Wrappin’ Rotarians station will help the food bank provide meals and groceries for local residents who may otherwise go without during the holidays.
Rotary organizers say the event is designed to take the stress out of the season while making it easy to give back. Shoppers can drop off their gifts, enjoy the lights and charm of Historic Folsom, and return later to pick up beautifully wrapped packages—turning a holiday chore into a simple act of generosity.
