FOLSOM — As the holiday festivities grow in Historic Folsom this weekend, Powerhouse Pub is turning up the heat with a slate of live music that blends blues-rock fireworks, dance-floor favorites, holiday cheer, and powerhouse performance energy. It all begins on Friday night, December 5 when Austin Mo steps onto the Powerhouse stage for an early show that sets the tone for a full weekend of nonstop entertainment.
Mo’s return is a highlight for local music fans who have watched his rise from teen prodigy to nationally recognized blues-rock force. His electrifying blend of blues and classic rock has earned admiration from legends including Tesla’s Frank Hannon, Andy Stoller of Heart, and Mike Dirnt of Green Day.
His story is as compelling as his sound—opened for nationally touring acts, toured Europe at 16, ranked among the nation’s top young guitarists, and endorsed by major music brands, all while refining one of the most distinctive tones on the West Coast. With influences ranging from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Santana and Led Zeppelin, Mo’s fiery solos, soulful vocals, and 1970s Flying V guitar deliver a performance built to ignite the Friday night crowd.
This special event also supports Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance. Mo will raffle a guitar signed by Sammy Hagar and host a silent auction packed with items benefiting families facing pediatric cancer. Admission is $15, with raffle tickets sold separately.
