Historic Folsom heats up again this weekend as Powerhouse Pub rolls out a high-energy slate of live entertainment, led by a pop-punk revival, a full-production Michael Jackson tribute, one of the region’s most popular party bands, and a special Sunday showcase honoring the legacy of Skip Maggiora. From Friday’s nostalgic throwbacks to Sunday’s community-driven celebration, the December momentum continues with a lineup built to keep the dance floor moving all weekend long.

The action begins Friday at 6:30 p.m. withWarp Tour, a full-throttle tribute to the legendary Vans Warped Tour era. More than a cover act, Warp Tour recreates the raw, rebellious energy of the early-2000s pop-punk and alternative-rock scene with driving guitar riffs, soaring hooks, and festival-style intensity. Their setlist is packed with the most defining anthems of the era—Blink-182, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Papa Roach, Sum 41, Good Charlotte, Yellowcard, Jimmy Eat World, and more. Friday night continues with a burst of dance, choreography, and musical showmanship as2Bad – The Michael Jackson Tribute Showtakes over at 10 p.m. Created by Adam Aldama and The Aces, this five-piece ensemble brings the King of Pop’s catalog to life with precision vocals, slick choreography, and hit after hit from across four decades. Fans can expect Bad, Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, Heal the World, Black or White, Rock With You, and a run of Jackson 5 classics presented with high-energy musicianship and crowd-pleasing excitement. Saturday night raises the stakes with the return ofWonderbread 5, taking the stage at 10 p.m. for the Ho Ho Ho Party—a festive, free-spirited night of holiday fun, outrageous attire, and nonstop dance anthems. With more than a decade of international touring behind them, the high-octane cover band is known for explosive stage presence, comedic flair, and the ability to ignite any room. Their Folsom return promises a night built for dancing, laughing, and fully embracing the holiday spirit.

The weekend reaches its heart on Sunday afternoon with a special holiday edition of Powerhouse of Blues:In Skip’s “Holiday” Spirit, beginning at 3 p.m. and continuing into the evening with a community holiday jam from 7 to 10 p.m. The multi-band showcase celebrates the life and influence of Skip Maggiora—founder of Skip’s Music and a champion of Sacramento’s creative community. Featuring six acts reimagining holiday classics through rock, pop, and blues, the event brings musicians and audiences together in a spirited seasonal gathering. To honor Skip’s dedication to giving, the event will also host a donation drive supporting Cakes 4 Kids (accepting toys and stuffed animals) and Mercy Peddlers (accepting socks, hats, gloves, and warm winter wear).
