A longtime chocolate brand with deep roots in the Sacramento region is preparing to sweeten the lineup at Folsom’s Palladio at Broadstone.
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory will open a new location in the coming weeks at 250 Palladio Parkway, Suite 1335, near Buckhorn Grill and the Palladio 16 Cinemas, according to company listings and franchise announcements. The shop will add another specialty dessert option to the popular open-air shopping and entertainment center as it continues to expand its mix of dining and retail offerings.
The expansion is being led by franchisees Jessica and Zachary Feuerbach, who also operate Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory’s longtime Old Sacramento Waterfront location. The couple announced the upcoming Folsom opening on social media, sharing their excitement about bringing the brand’s handcrafted sweets to another high-traffic destination in the region.
The Folsom shop will feature the full lineup of Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory favorites, including hand-dipped caramel apples, gourmet chocolates, house-made peanut brittle and signature caramel popcorn mixes. Many items are made fresh daily in-store and packaged for individual treats or gift giving.
While the Old Sacramento location reflects the brand’s historic, old-world charm after more than four decades in operation, the Feuerbachs have indicated the Palladio shop will introduce a refreshed, modern look aligned with the company’s updated design concept, while maintaining the same recipes and product quality that have defined the brand for years.
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory traces its roots to Durango, Colorado, where it was founded in 1981. The company has since grown into a nationally recognized confectionery brand with hundreds of franchised locations.
If construction and final preparations stay on schedule, the new Palladio shop is expected to open in February 2026, positioning it just ahead of Valentine’s Day and the busy spring season at one of Folsom’s most popular retail and entertainment centers.
