Broadstone favorite returns Feb. 4 after months-long remodel and drive-thru redesign
For Chick-fil-A loyalists in Folsom, it’s almost time to rejoice the Spicy Deluxe dry spell is finally coming to an end. After nearly four months of cravings, detours, and drive-thru withdrawals, Folsom’s only Chick-fil-A is officially reopening this week—complete with a sleek new features and upgrades designed to serve hungry fans even better than ever.
The popular restaurant at 2679 E. Bidwell Street in Broadstone Plaza closed in early October for a major renovation. Now, after an extended remodel and a slight delay beyond its original 90-day timeline, the restaurant is ready to welcome customers back with a newly refreshed interior and a reconfigured dual-lane drive-thru aimed at reducing congestion and improving efficiency.
Owned and operated by Matt Crane’s Crane Food Services LLC, the Folsom location has been a community staple since it opened in 2012, serving as a go-to stop for families, students, and commuters. Known for its fast-moving (yet often long) drive-thru lines and friendly service, the store has long experienced the kind of volume that eventually pushed its original layout to the limit.
The remodel was launched in response to that steady demand. While Chick-fil-A has not publicly released all design details, the project included a modernized dining room, enhanced kitchen flow, and substantial improvements to the drive-thru’s capacity and order-handling capabilities. Similar redesigns have been carried out at other high-traffic Chick-fil-A locations across the country as part of a broader service improvement initiative.

Customers returning this week can expect a faster, more streamlined experience whether dining in, ordering curbside, or pulling through the drive-thru. The restaurant will resume regular service hours and will offer its full menu, including breakfast items and mobile ordering through the Chick-fil-A app.
Folsom residents are already preparing to head back to their local favorite—no more road trips to Granite Bay or Rancho Cordova required.
