Florida native set for Feb. 25 performance in Folsom
FOLSOM — Country music traditionalist Easton Corbin is set to return to the stage in Folsom next month, bringing his signature baritone voice and time-tested country sound to the Harris Center for the Arts as part of his ongoing national tour.
Easton Corbin will perform live at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the Harris Center for the Arts, located on the campus of Folsom Lake College. The performance marks a highly anticipated stop for fans of Corbin’s blend of traditional country storytelling and contemporary polish.
Corbin has spent more than a decade building a career rooted in neotraditional country music, earning widespread acclaim for No. 1 hits such as “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It.” His most recent album, Let’s Do Country Right, continues that trajectory, offering a mix of up-tempo tracks, midtempo favorites, and heartfelt ballads that showcase the sound fans have come to expect.
The Florida native’s latest releases include “I Can’t Decide,” described by Billboard as an easygoing and fun number, along with the love anthem “Marry That Girl,” which has drawn praise from People and amassed more than 60 million streams since its release. The song has also reached audiences beyond country radio, appearing on FOX’s Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer and earning national television exposure through performances on The Kelly Clarkson Show and iHeartRadio’s The Bobby Bones Show.
Let’s Do Country Right was recorded alongside longtime producer Carson Chamberlain, with Corbin collaborating with established songwriters including Wade Kirby, Shane Minor, Adam Craig, and Wyatt McCubbin. The project reflects a period of renewed creative focus for Corbin, who has spent the past several years honing the message and authenticity behind his music.
Throughout his career, Corbin has earned seven top 10 singles, three American Country Awards, and the title of Billboard’s 2010 Top New Country Artist. His self-titled debut album was named Country Breakthrough Album of the Year by iTunes Rewind Best of 2010, while American Songwriter has praised his warm, smooth Southern drawl and unwavering commitment to traditional country roots.
That foundation traces back to Corbin’s childhood, where early exposure to legends such as Merle Haggard and George Jones shaped his musical identity. Those influences remain central to his sound today, grounding his modern releases in classic country emotion and storytelling.
The Harris Center for the Arts, a $50 million venue that opened in 2010, serves as one of the region’s premier performing arts destinations, hosting more than 300 use dates annually and welcoming over 100,000 patrons each year. In addition to touring artists like Corbin, the center supports Broadway productions, concerts, community organizations, and student performances from Folsom Lake College.
