The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to identify two suspects that have allegedly been using several stolen credit cards at area retailers.
According to information released by the department Friday afternoon, the cards in which the two suspects were stolen from multiple senior citizens in El Dorado County. Security images of the suspects show they are known to wear surgical style masks, using black in color.
The suspects are both described as African American adults, a male and a female, that appear to be a couple, according to the images that have been captured from several retailers so far, that include a variety of stores, from convenience stores to an area Walmart and others. The stolen cards have reportedly been used in areas of El Dorado, Sacramento and other surrounding counties.
The department is asking for anyone that may be able to identify the individuals or have any information that could assist them in their search for the masked duo to contact investigators.
