A black cat may cross your path this weekend in Orangevale, but its one of a good, entertaining kind.  Black Cat Moon is taking the stage at Jan’s Lounge this Friday where you can keep cool or heat things up out on the dance floor if you desire.  

Black Cat Moon is known for its rock covers spanning 50 years, consistently bringing audiences to the dance floor with their infectious energy. This Friday’s show, dubbed the “End of Summer Bash,” is set to be a special one, with the band debuting their new T-shirts and even giving a few away throughout the night.

Leading the band is Chuck “Heart Breaker” Gallagher, whose soulful and powerful voice channels the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Sammy Hagar, and Robert Plant. Gallagher takes the audience on a wild ride through rock and blues, delivering a performance that’s sure to have everyone dancing and singing along.

On guitar, Stephen “Soul Shaker” Foondos drives the band forward with his electric guitar and fiery fingers. A virtuoso, Foondos dazzles the crowd with melodic yet hard-edged riffs, creating a musical atmosphere that’s both energetic and captivating.

Holding down the rhythm section is Billy “Claim Staker” Evrigenis, whose powerful bass grooves and background vocals keep the energy high. Evrigenis knows how to get the crowd moving, urging them to “get up and dance” with every thump of his bass guitar.

Rounding out the lineup is Ray-Ray “Beat Maker” Mattos on drums. With his battle-hardened drum kit and deep well of soul, Mattos delivers the big beats and intricate rhythms that keep the audience swinging and the band rocking hard all night long.

The weekend fun doesn’t stop there. On Saturday, the Mad Hatters will take the stage at 9 p.m., offering a mix of hits from the ’80s, ’90s, and today’s charts. According to Jan’s Lounge, the Mad Hatters will keep you dancing until 1 a.m., with no cover charge.
