A body was found in the waters of Folsom Lake Friday, according to reports from the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.
The body was found in the waters near Rattlesnake Bar by members of the Placer County Sheriffs Office.
At this time, authorities say is is not known how long the body was in the lake, but the sheriff’s office said it was first spotted mid-morning on Friday. According to the sheriff’s reports.
The sheriff’s office said at this time the body has yet to be identified and it has not yet been confirmed if it is connected to either of the two missing persons that were swept away into the waters of the American River near Auburn in the past two weeks.
