Community Members Invited to Learn About Volunteer Opportunities for upcoming March Airshow
California Capital Airshow (CCA), presented by Sacramento County in partnership with the City of Rancho Cordova, invites prospective, past and current airshow volunteers to participate in its Volunteer Rally at Movement Brewing Company at 11151 Trade Center Drive Suite 104 in Rancho Cordova on Tuesday, November 19 from 6-7 PM. The rally will provide interested community members with the opportunity to learn more about the 2025 Airshow, meet team leaders and find their niche on the CCA volunteer team.
More than 1,000 community members make up the corps of volunteers that help bring the Airshow to life each year. The 2025 Airshow will take place at Mather Airport on March 22 and March 23, 2025 and feature the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, among many other world-class civilian and military aerial performers.
“Our amazing volunteers play a vital role in supporting California Capital Airshow’s mission of fostering the next generation’s interest in STEM and aviation,” says Darcy Brewer, Executive Director of California Capital Airshow. “They get to enjoy the behind-the-scenes excitement of producing one of the region’s largest high-energy events, all while making a direct impact for local students and our community.”
The Airshow is looking for adults, age 18 and older, to volunteer their time on Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23, 2025. Volunteers will be fed andprovided with water throughout the day, in addition to receiving a commemorative ‘Airshow Crew’ t-shirt, the chance to make new friends, and the CCA’s deepest gratitude for supporting this nonprofit event.
Attendance at the rally is not mandatory to volunteer for the Airshow but is highly recommended. Those interested in volunteering may sign up at californiacapitalairshow.com/become-a-volunteer/.
