The City of Folsom’s annual Spring Eggstravaganza is less than a month away and the city is in need of many volunteers or, secret bunnies to help with the preparations, especially in the way of stuffing thousands of eggs.
The Easter weekend Festival of Eggs incorporates all of the crowd-favorite elements that is has for years, which includes, thousands of eggs that will need to be stuffed with treats for the youngsters in attendance as they make their way through the many stops at Lembi Park to fill their baskets with treats and prizes.
Volunteers are needed to help the staff of Folsom Parks & Recreation stuff some 25,000+ eggs with candy and prize slips from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 27 at the Folsom Community Center, 52 Natoma Street.
Volunteers can be individuals, families, neighbors, co-workers, clubs, or service groups; those under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers must register here online in advance. For more information on volunteering, contact jkarge@folsom.ca.us or call them at 916-461-6616.
