Tuesday night City Council returns to its chambers at Folsom City Hall for its regular meeting. This week’s agenda includes a number of items council members will review and consider for approval.
Tuesday’s meeting is expected to begin with business from the floor, which provides the public with opportunity to address City Council. Following the routine opener, council members and attendees will presentations that include a presentation from Assemblyman Hoover of grant funds for the Johnny Cash Trail Art Project, a presentation from the Parks and Recreation Department regarding the Adopt a Trail Program and a presentation from the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House Charities regarding their September 9 “Red Shoe Crawl” in Historic Folsom
The presentation portion of the meeting will be followed the consent calendar. Tuesday’s meeting has a number of resolutions to be reviewed. Among the many is a props raise of 10 percent the Cory Manager, an agreement with Tesla and Folsom Lake Ford for the purchase of police vehicles; a construction change order for the Folsom Lake Crossing and East Natoma friction enhancement project;an agreement to purchase six solid waste collection vehicles; a resolution to adopt a Citizens Advisory Committee for the Central Business District and more.
