If you are seeking a new permit in the City of Folsom, you can expect to pay a bit more for some of them as early as this week.
The City of Folsom Community Development Department is implementing a 4.5% increase in planning and development engineering permit fees, effective November 1 according to a City of Folsom news release.
The Folsom City Council originally approved the updated fee schedule earlier this month, at the Oct. 10 Folsom City Council meeting. City officials cite that the increased cost is to align all City of Folsom user fees with inflation rates.
