The City of Folsom is calling on residents to help shine a light on everyday heroes who are making a difference in the community. Nominations are now open for the 2025 Spirit of Folsom Award, an annual honor that celebrates individuals who go above and beyond in their service to the city.
This unique recognition program gives each member of the Folsom City Council the opportunity to select one outstanding individual from their respective district. Whether it’s a neighbor, volunteer, local advocate, or behind-the-scenes community champion, city officials want to hear their story.
Nominations must be submitted through the city’s online form by Friday, August 8. Those selected will be formally recognized during an upcoming Folsom City Council meeting with an official certificate. Their contributions will also be honored with a display at City Hall and featured on the city’s website, social media, and newsletter.
