Those traveling on Golf Links drive Tuesday evening may have witnessed slow moving traffic and a whole lot of celebration as Vista del Lago High School celebrated homecoming with its annual Homecoming Parade.
The parade trekked down Golf Links Drive as residents lined the sides of the roadway between Empire Oaks Elementary School and Vista del Lago High School at dusk. The parade featured floats from the various classes as well as participation by Folsom Fire, Police and local businesses.
During its Homecoming Game on Friday night, the Eagles had more to celebrate as they defeated El Camino in an impressive 63-0 game to continue their strong season.
