Connect Me Free Tutoring, the largest student-run free tutoring organization in the United States, is now a popular resource for students in Folsom. With over 400 team members across 33 states and eight countries, the organization has provided more than 30,000 tutoring sessions, significantly impacting the local community.
The all online service offers one-on-one, personalized lessons tailored to each student’s needs. After an initial consultation with the student and their parents, tutors develop individualized lesson plans designed to foster long-term educational relationships. This personalized approach has proven effective, with many tutor-student pairs working together for years.
The application process for Connect Me Tutoring is straightforward, taking only a few minutes to complete on any device. The organization prides itself on fast and reliable customer service, ensuring students are quickly paired with tutors and any questions or concerns are promptly addressed.
In addition to personalized tutoring sessions, Connect Me offers webinars aimed at middle and high school students, providing extra academic resources to help them succeed.
Kaustuv Mukherjee, Treasurer of Connect Me Tutoring, shared the organization’s journey with Folsom Times.
“It’s a very rewarding feeling – knowing how far we’ve come from our beginnings during the pandemic. I’m grateful to have seen Connect Me grow over the years, from a three-person team to hundreds. This milestone is a testament to all the work everyone has put in,” said Mukherjee.
Founder Mehmet Tascioglu emphasized the impact of their work: “The fact that Connect Me is free doesn’t matter. Our currency here is making children successful. That’s what makes us happy, that’s what fuels us.”
