Those looking for a romantic outing in Historic Folsom this Valentine’s Day can find such at Willamette Wineworks where they can enjoy fine wines, bites and the addition live music by local resident and Nashville Music Row recording artist Cynthia Renee. The live music will take place from 5:30-8:30 p.m, much like the venue’s regular Saturday night entertainment series.
The Willamette Wineworks appearance is a new addition to Renee’s schedule Wednesday night. She will be joined for the acoustic performance by talented guitarist Aaron Geoffrey, who is also a member of her five piece band many are familiar with.
Renee and her band have performed at KNCI Radio’s Country in the Park alongside other country artists such as Lady A and Maddie and Tae. This past summer, they opened for multi-platinum selling artist Uncle Kracker in Santa Barbara, as well as Broken Bow Records Artist Chase Bryant in Reno.
Renee has also performed at The Harris Center for the Arts, numerous casino and entertainment venues, the California State Fair, El Dorado County Fair, San Joaquine County Fair, Gold Country Fair and others this past year. Wedmeday’s performance will be the final for Renee before she departs to the East Coast this week, after being selected as one of 10 singer-songwriters nationally to perform in the “New York Encounter” showcase at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City this coming weekend.
“This past year I have done a great deal of traveling to record and different shows,” said Renee. “It’s always exciting to play back close to home and this is such a great opportunity to play at Willamette’s beautiful venue in Historic Folsom on Valentine’s Day. Aaron and I hope to see many join us for their date night tonight!”
Renee and Geoffrey will be performing a number of her originals, including her most recent Nashville produced radio release, “Good on Me,” “Working on a Hangover,” as well as a mixed of different genres and cover songs everyone will love.
