Vitalant will host a community blood drive at the Palladio at Broadstone on Tuesday, January 28, to help meet the ongoing need for blood and blood products in the area and is offering an added incentive for donors with a special gift.
Donors will be rewarded for their generosity with a Fandango movie voucher and a coupon for a large popcorn from Palladio 16 Cinema. Additionally, all participants will be entered into a Vitalant drawing for a chance to win one of three $10,000 gift cards.
Appointments are encouraged and can be scheduled at donors.vitalant.org using blood drive code SMFM895 or by calling Vitalant at 877-258-4825. Walk-ins will be accommodated as space allows.
The blood drive will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Palladio at Broadstone, located at 240 Palladio Parkway, Folsom, CA 95630. The Bloodmobile bus will be parked in the lot near Kirkland’s and Whole Foods.
Eligible donors must be at least 16 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds. Donors should be in good health and bring a photo ID. Sixteen-year-olds are required to have a signed Vitalant parent consent form, which is available at vitalant.org.
