As polls closed Tuesday Nov. 4, ballots from the 2024 General Election are being tallied as the various precincts turn in their reports. While results in many races will not be official or in some cases known for days to come Sacramento County will be releasing results beginning election night just after 8 p.m. Those updated results for our area will be found below as each round of updated results are released by county elections.

The initial results will be Vote by Mail and Vote Center ballots that are returned and processed through Monday, November 4. The second report, will include results from the Vote Centers on Election Day, and are expected to be issued by 10:00 pm, with subsequent updates approximately every two hours, if needed, until all Vote Centers have reported.

Following election night processing, the first interim report Sacramento County elections will be released by 4:15 pm on Friday, November 8 and will contain results from Vote by Mail ballots and provisional ballots received timely​.  Subsequent reports will be updated every Tuesday and Friday until certification​​ which is expected to be Tuesday, December 3.

Below is the latest round of results for our local area, including results for Folsom City Council, Measures, School Board and other countywide elections. Below the updated county results you will find results for State of California contests as they are made available.
