Join us for the 2024 Good News Mountain Bike Races! Get MTB season ready with three Saturdays of dirt crit racing for all ages and skill levels:
- January 27 at Lakeside Church in Folsom
- February 3 at District Church in El Dorado Hills
- February 10 at Johnson-Springview Park in Rocklin
What’s a Dirt Crit MTB course you ask? Well it’s got a bit of everything except big climbs, longer than a short track course, shorter than a cross country course, and all the fun of going all out on your MTB!
The Good News series aims to provide fun, close racing for the seasoned racer and, simultaneously, a positive, attainable and welcoming experience for those new to racing on a short course designed to be supported easily by coaches, teams, and families. All ages and abilities are welcome with Grom, 678, and High School specific categories as well as adult skill/age groups. Look forward to:
- Fun and social race environment created by a short course format
- Opportunity to practice skills in a race atmosphere on a course closed to the public
- Different courses at three local venues in the Sacramento region to keep things interesting
