FAIR OAKS – Assemblyman Josh Hoover has announced that Fair Oaks Family Taekwondo has been named the February 2025 Small Business of the Month for the 7th Assembly District, which he represents.
Founded in 2017 by Master Brian Kropp, this outstanding local business has made a lasting impact by empowering students through martial arts, leadership, and personal growth. Located at 7909 Fair Oaks Blvd., Carmichael, CA 95608, the school has expanded its facility over the past eight years to accommodate more students, promoted dozens of black belts, developed five fully credentialed instructors, and trained students for international competition, including college circuits, the military, and even the Olympics.
Fair Oaks Family Taekwondo stands out not only for its rigorous training but also for its commitment to trauma-informed instruction, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive. Master Kropp and his leadership team hold top certifications, including a Master Instructor’s License and a Black Belt Examiner’s License from South Korea’s Kukkiwon, making them leaders in the martial arts community.

Josh Hoover is a Folsom resident and represents Assembly District 7, which includes the cities of Citrus Heights, Folsom, and Rancho Cordova, as well as the unincorporated communities of Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Foothill Farms, Gold River, Mather, McClellan Park, North Highlands, Orangevale, and Rosemont.
