FOLSOM — Halloween spirit takes over Historic Folsom this Saturday, Oct. 25, with a full day of family-friendly fun, live performances, and festive entertainment stretching from afternoon through evening. The annual Festifall celebration invites families to enjoy trick-or-treating, costumes, and community all along Sutter Street, followed by performances and contests at the Zittel Family Amphitheater and a spooky circus spectacular after dark.
From 2 to 5 p.m., families are invited to stroll the 600–900 blocks of Sutter Street for Festifall – Trick-or-Treat in Historic Folsom. Kids can fill their candy bags while visiting local merchants marked with “Participating Merchant” signs, each ready to hand out sweets and celebrate the season. Shopkeepers will join in the fun with festive costumes, decorated storefronts, and themed displays throughout the Historic District.
Presented in partnership with Bayside Church of Folsom, Festifall also includes games, bounce houses, and activities for all ages, offering a safe, fun way to celebrate Halloween in one of Folsom’s most vibrant destinations.

As the afternoon continues, the Zittel Family Amphitheater becomes the heart of the action. At 4 p.m., Cynthia’s Dance Center presents a free preview of Sleeping Beauty, featuring local youth dancers ages 6–12 in a dazzling showcase of talent and creativity. Immediately following the performance, at 4:30 p.m., children can take part in the Kids Costume Contest, with trophies awarded to the top two winners in each of five age categories. Registration is $5 per child, and participants will parade across the amphitheater stage before awards are presented. For details, call or text 916-801-6553 or email cynthia@cynthiasdancecenter.com.
As daylight fades, the evening takes a thrilling turn with the return of A Very Spooky Circus at the amphitheater from 6 to 8 p.m. Now in its third year, the show transforms the plaza into a realm of eerie acrobatics and hauntingly beautiful artistry. Featuring Infinite Spin Performing Arts in collaboration with Organic Pyrotechnic, Cirque Reverie, Renegade Circus, and the Fuel Junkies, audiences can expect fire arts, aerial performances, and death-defying stunts that will keep them spellbound. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 6:30 p.m.
It’s an entire day of magic and mischief in the heart of Historic Folsom — from candy-filled family fun to a night of thrilling spectacle. For complete event details, visit historicfolsom.org.
