Folsom Fire Department, with assistance from El Dorado Hills Fire Department have responded to a working structure fire on the 1200 block of Walden Drive in Folsom on Saturday evening.
The call was received at approximately 7:10 p.m., A total of nine units were involved in the response.
According to information gathered by Folsom Times at the scene, the renters were alerted to the fire by someone ringing their doorbell. They evacuated safely, and no injuries have been reported. However, the family’s cats are currently missing.
The fire appears to be primarily contained to the garage which was heavily involved in flames upon arrival. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
