Multiple units from the Folsom Fire Department and El Dorado Hills Fire are in response to a structure fire in the Folsom Ranch area Wednesday morning. 

At 7:53 am, firefighters were dispatched to the 3500 block of Flicker Drive in Folsom after a 911 call reporting a structure fire. The incident is located within the Folsom Ranch community, south of Highway 50.

Upon arrival to the scene, radio traffic reported that the exterior of two neighboring houses were reportedly involved in fire.

8:05 a.m.Radio traffic reports that both fires have been knocked down.

8:12 a.m: Firefighters are checking interior walls of the structures for fire extension. Working active fires are extinguished at this time. Structure ventilation in progress.
