The Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) is the largest umbrella organization for school leaders in the United States, serving more than 17,000 California educators. The organization’s top priority is advocating for public school students in kindergarten through grade 12, as well as adult learners with a mission to be the “driving force of education,” in California and beyond.

Founded in 1971, the ACSA administrators associations in 39 states have moved toward some form of consolidated or umbrella organization. The ACSA is the only association in the nation that encompasses the broad spectrum of the management/leadership team.

Folsom Cordova Unified School District Superintendent Sarah Koligian topped the list of California Region 3 Award recipients, being named the 2024 ACSA Exemplary Woman in Education.  Three different FCUSD were honored as Administrators of the Year. Those honorees included Sean Martin, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, Don Ogden, Associate Superintendent of Human Resources and Terri Daniels, Ed.D, Principal of Folsom Middle School. Vickie Boudouris was presented with the ACSA Silver Star Award. Boudaris is the Principal of Natoma Station Elementary School.

“Congratulations to all the award winners. Their hard work, dedication, and passion for education have not gone unnoticed,” reads a statement from the FCUSD. “Each has made a significant impact within FCUSD, and the state-level recognition serves as a testament to the shared commitment to ensure all students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.”
