First local fundraiser of its type will raise funds for area youth sports
The Folsom American Little League has announced its first ever Coaches Cup golf fundraiser, benefiting youth baseball in the local community and sign-ups are now open for those that wish to participate.
The tournament will take place on May 20th at Empire Ranch Golf Course, with all proceeds going towards supporting Folsom American Little League’s annual operating expenses and planned field/facility projects, with a goal of minimizing player registration fee increases and providing scholarships to children in need.
Golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate in this exciting event, which promises to be a fun-filled day for a great cause.
“We are thrilled to host our first annual Coaches Cup to support Folsom Little League and provide opportunities for local youth to get involved in sports,” said Dan Hausmann, event organizer. “We are grateful for the support of our sponsors and participants, and we look forward to a successful event that will make a positive impact in our community.”
The tournament will include a shotgun start at 8:00 am, followed by a post-tournament reception and awards ceremony. In addition to golfing, participants can enjoy on-course contests, raffle prizes, silent auction and networking opportunities with fellow golf enthusiasts. Registration for the tournament is now open and sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses and individuals looking to support the cause.
