Saturday officially became another “great day to be a Bulldog,” as they like to say in town, after the Folsom Bulldogs muscled their way to another state championship.

Playing at Saddleback college in Southern California, the Bulldogs came out on top after a nail biter of a game against powerhouse St. Bonaventure High School 20-14.

The Folsom Bulldogs previously won state tiles in 2018, 2017, 2014 and 2010. They last competed in the title game in 2021. The 2023 title is the first under head coach Paul Doherty.
