Here’s how to watch broadcasts of Folsom, Vista, and Cordova High School ceremonies that begin Thursday

For those unable to attend one of the upcoming Folsom Cordova Unified School District graduation ceremonies due to distance, mobility issues, or seating limitations, help is just a click away. Thanks to a local media collaboration, each of the 2025 high school graduation ceremonies will be broadcast live and available to view for free.

In partnership with the Folsom Cordova Unified School District (FCUSD), Folsom Times and Folsom TV, and the faculty of each school, the locally owned and operated digital news outlet will provide live coverage of the ceremonies at Folsom High School, Vista del Lago High School, and Cordova High. Each ceremony will be available to watch live as it happens and will also be archived for later viewing and sharing.

For several years now, families have faced the challenge of limited seating at graduation ceremonies. Each student receives only a small number of tickets, making it difficult for extended family and friends to attend. The problem often led to social media ticket searches or even resale attempts. Frick identified this issue and worked with the school district to livestream the ceremonies, allowing more people to share in the special day.

The benefits of the livestream extend beyond seating concerns. The broadcasts make it possible for elderly family members, individuals with health limitations, and loved ones across the country—or even abroad—to watch their graduate walk across the stage. With a multi-camera setup at each event, the viewing experience is designed to feel as immersive as being there in person.

Viewers can access the live streams on any smart device or computer by visiting the dedicated YouTube livestream channels listed below. In addition to YouTube, direct links will be featured on the homepage of www.folsomtimes.comand across Folsom Times’ social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. These are the only authorized platforms for the FCUSD contracted livestreams, so following them ensures you won’t miss a moment and will have access to the official links.

All livestreams and archived versions will be available free of charge, thanks to the continued partnership between Folsom Times, Folsom TV, FCUSD, and the local businesses that support Folsom Times through advertising year-round.
