Units from the Folsom Fire Department have made quick work of mobile home fire Sunday afternoon in the Pinebrook Village community.

At 3:57 p.m. units were dispatched to 200 block of Overbrook Drive for a reported structure fire following a 911 call.  Upon arrival firefighters reported a residence was charged with smoke, prompting first responders to ventilate the home and establish a water supply for an initial attack. 

Four Folsom engines responded to the incident along with one rescue unit, a medic unit and one battalion. 

This is an active incident at the time of this posting, updates will be reported here by Folsom Times staff as they become available. 

Update 4:11 p.m: firefighters have made a knock down on the fire. One rescue unit has been cancelled from response. 

Update 4:22 p.m.: Fire has been fully extinguished according to personnel at the scene. Four Folsom Fire units remain at the incident. No injuries reported.
