Members of the Folsom Fire Department had an unexpected young guest that came to the station to deliver a special thank you to the first responders.

Local Girl Scout Ari Nelson came by Station 35 on Glenn Drive and delivered a supply of cookies to the firefighters and staff. According the department’s social media page, the cookies were sent to the department courtesy of Nelson’s uncle all the way in New York City who wanted to thank the department for everything that they do for the community and that what firefighters do for cities everywhere, letting them know it is sincerely appreciated from across the country.
