FOLSOM — A pumpkin patch of a truly unique kind is returning this weekend to Folsom, and this one is guaranteed to “blow you away.” The City of Folsom Parks & Recreation Department and 2BGlass Studio are once again teaming up to present the annual Handblown Glass Pumpkin Patch, a dazzling fall art experience featuring thousands of handcrafted glass creations.

The free event takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, October 11 and 12, on the grounds of the Folsom Art Center at 48 Natoma Street. Visitors will find more than 6,000 pieces of handblown glass art on display, including pumpkins, gourds, acorns, fruits, vegetables, and other imaginative works, each crafted with remarkable color and detail.

Every piece is the product of artistry and skill from brothers Aaron and Tate Bezdek, owners of 2BGlass Studio, along with a collective of 11 other glassblowers from across Northern California. Each item is available in a range of sizes and price points, offering visitors the rare chance to purchase one-of-a-kind glass art and start or expand a collection that lasts a lifetime.

Back by popular demand, the weekend will feature live glassblowing demonstrations, where artists will fire up their furnaces and showcase the mesmerizing process of shaping molten glass into shimmering works of art. Visitors can also enjoy coffee, free popcorn, and the vibrant fall atmosphere that turns the art center grounds into a harvest-themed wonderland of color and creativity.

Themed outdoor displays such as “Garden Goddess,” “Edgar Allen Poe,” and “Dracula” add to the experience, with pumpkins and seasonal pieces displayed among straw bales, corn stalks, and festive decor. The Handblown Glass Pumpkin Patch has quickly become a favorite fall tradition for many Folsom families, drawing crowds eager to browse, collect, and support local artisans while enjoying a day surrounded by art and community spirit.

All proceeds from the event benefit Folsom Parks & Recreation’s community arts education programs at the Folsom Art Center, helping sustain workshops and hands-on opportunities for local residents and students.
