The Goddard School of Folsom has set a new record in its annual Soup-er Bowl Canned Food Drive, donating an impressive 2,250 food items—totaling 1,845 pounds—to benefit Twin Lakes Food Bank.

Each year, the school’s young students, along with their families and teachers, rally together for the cause, collecting non-perishable food items to support those in need in the community. This year’s drive not only surpassed previous donation totals but also reinforced the school’s commitment to compassion, empathy, and community engagement.

The Soup-er Bowl drive is designed to coincide with the excitement of football’s biggest game of the year, adding an element of friendly competition and teamwork to the effort. As students contribute cans and boxes of food, they also learn valuable life lessons about giving back—a core value at The Goddard School.

Twin Lakes Food Bank, which serves families and individuals in need throughout Folsom and the surrounding areas, expressed gratitude for the school’s efforts.
