The Folsom Cordova Unified School District can add another honor to its trophy case, which continues to grow this year. Lisa Finley, the longtime Athletic Director of Folsom High School, has been named the 2024 Athletic Director of the Year by the California State Athletic Director Association’s Sac-Joaquin Section.
This recent recognition stands as a testament to Finley’s longstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to the Folsom Cordova Unified School District and the impact the veteran educator has had on the Folsom High School athletic program.
With a decades-long career in education and athletics, Finley has continually demonstrated her passion for fostering a culture of excellence both on and off the field among Folsom’s youth.
Under Finley’s guidance, Folsom High School’s athletic program has flourished, achieving unprecedented success in multiple sports disciplines and bringing the Bulldogs success year after year, including multiple state championships.

The Athletic Director of the Year Award is presented annually by the California State Athletic Director Association’s Sac-Joaquin Section. The honors celebrate individuals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership, innovation, and service within the realm of high school athletics.
