The holiday spirit is coming early to Folsom as the Palladio at Broadstone welcomes the community to its annual Tree Lighting event on Saturday Nov. 23. The festivities, set to take place in the Piazza, mark the official start of the holiday season in the city.

The family-friendly celebration kicks off at 5 p.m. and promises an evening filled with entertainment, holiday cheer, and the much-anticipated lighting of the towering Christmas tree. Attendees can enjoy live performances, holiday treats, and the festive atmosphere that has made this event a beloved tradition in the community.

“The tree lighting at Palladio is more than just flipping a switch — it’s about bringing the community together to celebrate the joy of the season,” said event organizers. “We’re excited to welcome families and friends to share in this special moment.”

Santa Claus is also scheduled to make an appearance, delighting children and offering a chance for festive photos. Families are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the pre-lighting festivities and secure a good view of the dazzling tree, which will illuminate the Piazza in a cascade of holiday lights.

The Palladio Tree Lighting is just the first in a series of festive events planned across the region. Upcoming tree lightings include Rancho Cordova on Dec. 1, Historic Folsom on Dec. 6, and El Dorado Hills Town Center on Dec. 7.
