In alignment with the long popular slogan associated with the Folsom Bulldogs, it was a great day to be a Bulldog at the most recent Folsom City Council meeting as the Folsom Junior Bulldogs were honored.

Folsom Mayor Rosario Rodriguez presented the local youth football and cheer association with the Excellence in Academics Award with a Resolution of Commendation.

“On behalf of the Folsom City Council and the Folsom community, (I) hereby extend commendations in the highest regard to the members of the Folsom Jr. Bulldogs,” reads the resolution.

The presentation took place in the wake of members of the Folsom Junior Bulldog Football and cheer teams earning and maintaining a grade point average of 3.0 or better during the 2022 football and cheer season.
