Folsom Lake College (FLC) found their scoring streak after a couple of games of lower scores than they’re used to. The Falcons beat the Beavers 77-53 on the road.
With a slow start, FLC found themselves down by one after the first quarter, but exploded for 28 points in the second quarter to take a 42-32 lead heading into halftime. Just as it happened in the first half, they kept it relatively even against ARC in the third quarter, but showed why they are a top team in the state with a 20-8 fourth quarter to close things out.
The Falcons had standout performances from multiple players, catching their groove at the right time midway through Big 8 play. Corrie Harrison had her second double-double in a row with 12 points (all in the first half) and 11 rebounds. Reya Lee continued to solidify her spot as a top-5 3pt shooter in the conference hitting six all together, scoring a career-high 20 points. Alysa Lopez had a well-rounded game across the board with 19 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 0 turnovers. FLC ranked #16 and improved to 14-4 (4-2) with the victory.
