The season’s spirit will take center stage next month as the Folsom Lake Symphony brings its annual holiday tradition, Deck the Hall, back to the Harris Center for the Arts for a pair of festive performances on December 13 and 14.

The beloved program returns with a joyful blend of classics, contemporary favorites, and guest performances designed to capture the warmth and wonder of the holidays for all ages.

This year’s celebration features acclaimed soprano Carrie Hennessey and the Northern California Youth Chorus, whose voices join the full symphony to elevate the evening’s most treasured selections.


Audiences can expect a rich program that includes Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride, The Christmas Waltz by Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn, Tchaikovsky’s Waltz of the Snowflakes from The Nutcracker, Victor Herbert’s March of the Toys from Babes in Toyland, and the timeless O Holy Night. Modern favorites such as All I Want for Christmas Is You and Peter Jaffe’s Symph-Hanukkah also find their place among the night’s highlights, along with a lively Christmas Sing-Along arranged by John Finnegan.

From the nostalgic charm of The Polar Express to the soaring elegance of O Holy Night, Deck the Hall promises a full evening of holiday spirit, offering families and concertgoers a chance to gather, celebrate, and enjoy some of the season’s most iconic music in one of the region’s premier arts venues.
