Thanks to the new state-wide partnership, 100 passes will be available year-round to check out from the Folsom Library for up to three weeks at a time.
“As part of a statewide partnership between the California State Parks and California State Library, the Folsom Public Library will be hosting an educational talk for all ages on Saturday, March 4 at 1 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room. Join State Park Interpreter Nicole Barden for an all-ages friendly naturalist talk about the plants and animals found in our local State Parks.”
There are plenty of amazing options to choose from! Some of the closest and most popular ones include Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park, Auburn State Recreation Area, Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park, and Calaveras Big Trees State Park.
“This state-wide partnership provides local libraries with passes which allow free day-use for one vehicle at more than 200 participating state park units. There are also group pass kits for clubs, scout troops, or extended families, which have four passes bundled together.”
