Folsom residents now have a more convenient way to access police records services thanks to a new satellite location recently opened at Fire Station 34.
The Folsom Police Department has expanded its Records Division services to the southern part of the city, with in-person assistance now available at Folsom Fire Station 34, located at 3255 Westwood Drive. This new location is open from 8 a.m. to noon, Tuesdays through Thursdays, excluding city holidays.
This added site allows residents south of Highway 50 to save time when handling non-emergency police records needs. Services provided at the new location include police report requests, citation sign-offs, vehicle releases, public records requests, and VIN verifications. Records staff can also assist with creating calls for service, accepting fees, and handling repossessions.
Officials emphasize that this location is for non-emergency needs only. In the event of an emergency, residents should continue to call 9-1-1.
