Folsom police and the FBI are investigating a string of incidents involving the distribution of antisemitic flyers as well as graffiti  in various areas of the community that has been reported over the last four days. 

According to Folsom Police reports, three of the reported incidents were for graffiti that is considered to be hate crime as well as numerous flyers containing swastikas and antisemitic content that were reported in various locations around the city’s Lexington Hills neighborhood.

According to Andrew Graham of the Folsom Police Department, the incidents are being investigated as a hate crime and are being investigated as one collaborative case. 

Some of the graffiti and flyers reportedly contained  language considered to be that of recruitment efforts to join hate groups, it was noted that the graffiti was performed using stenciled messages, indicating that it was a planned and thought out effort by the suspects.

Folsom Police have not detailed the specific verbiage or content of the graffiti of the flyers and noted that such details are part of an additional ongoing  investigation by the Sacramento office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. 

Folsom Police is asking residents to report any additional such incidents to the department at 916-461-6400.
